Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Pacific Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Bluegrass and Old Time music through regular jams, workshops, concerts, and other special events. To keep updated on Pacific Bluegrass activities, please refer to the calendar of events section of this website or follow us on Facebook.
Composed of approximately 300 members and operated on a volunteer basis, Pacific Bluegrass always welcomes new members, as well as people who are just curious or just want to listen. If you play an instrument and are interested in Bluegrass or Old Time Music, we invite you to join us.
On the first Monday of each month we host the fabulous Sue Malcolm's Slow Pitch Jam. Various types of open jams and other events (Concerts, Open Mics, Workshops) are held on other Mondays.
