Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Pacific Bluegrass and Heritage Society (PBHS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Bluegrass and Old Time music through regular jams, workshops, concerts, and other special events. To keep updated on Pacific Bluegrass activities, please refer to the calendar of events section of this website or follow us on Facebook.
Composed of approximately 200 members and operated on a volunteer basis, Pacific Bluegrass always welcomes new members, as well as people who are just curious or just want to listen. If you play an instrument and are interested in Bluegrass or Old Time Music, we invite you to come down to the Anza Club every Monday night and check us out. From September through June, weekly jams are held upstairs at the ANZA Club. On the first Monday of each month we host the fabulous Sue Malcolm's Slow Pitch Jam. Various jams and other event are held on each of the following Mondays.
In July and August, the club meets at Trout Lake in East Vancouver for casual and informal jam sessions.
In addition to jam nights, we also host open stage nights, workshops and concerts.
